Since it began operating in Florida in 2018, the high-speed Brightline rail service has simplified car-free travel between Miami, West Palm Beach, and Fort Lauderdale. The service is prepared for the last leg of its long-awaited Central to South Florida train journey after introducing new stops in Aventura and Boca Raton last month. 1

This Monday, the rail company unveiled the first conceptual designs for the eagerly awaited Orlando station, which is scheduled to open later this year.

Travelers will be able to get to Disney World from Miami in around three hours thanks to the expansion to the new station, which is housed in Terminal C of Orlando International Airport—a journey that would require at least an additional hour if made by automobile.

The new Orlando station will have all of the amenities that are already essential to the Brightline experience, just like its counterparts in Miami, West Palm, Aventura, and Boca. This consists of the airline's luxury lounges, which include snacks, coffee, beer, and wine on tap, chargers next to each seat, and other amenities. The station and lounges will be filled with the cheery grapefruit smell that has become synonymous with Brightline and is adored by frequent users of the carrier.

Big screens with quickly updated schedule updates can be found all over the station, and a dedicated attendant will let people know when trains are coming. All passengers can board Orlando's Brightline trains from one of the service's two new tracks by using the escalator or elevator to reach the first level platform.

The station will also have its trademark Mary Mary Bar, which serves up cocktails and light fare for those on the go, as well as in-station shopping opportunities. Visitors may watch trains arrive and go from the sit-down bar's expansive view of the train platform.

Brightline's president, Patrick Goddard, remarked in a press statement that "this world-class train station continues our quest to transform train travel in America."

2 "To guarantee that this station satisfies the expectations of the contemporary tourist, we have carefully considered every aspect."

With more than 350 parking spaces set aside for Brightline visitors, the 37,350 square foot station has a direct connection to parking deck C of the Orlando airport. In less than five minutes, connections to Terminals A and B can be accomplished quickly.
Although a precise opening date has not yet been set, it is anticipated that the new station will open in the first half of this year.
