There are many ways to experience the buzz of the capital's fashion scene without obtaining an industry-only ticket as the fashion pack descended on London for the biannual London Fashion Week and eagerly anticipated shows like Daniel Lee's debut collection for Burberry or Moncler Genius' highly star-studded show at London Olympia. We've rounded up the sexiest places to spend London Fashion Week 2023, from the city's trendiest clubs to shops honoring the city's unequaled shopping opportunities and distinctive British businesses.

Oxford Street's Selfridges

Two of the unmissable fashion pop-ups Selfridges is hosting in February have a Japanese flair. The store will honor Loewe's third partnership with the Japanese animation studio, Studio Ghibli this time on a Howl's Moving Castle collection with a series of events, 3D renderings, and a dining experience based on the movie at Dolly's cafe inside the store. Jimmy Choo's collaboration with the manga series Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon will pop up in the accessories hall.

Restaurants

In Mayfair, Bacchanalia

The beginning of 2023 saw the grand opening of this new restaurant, one of the most stunning locations to eat in the city. Here, restaurant owner Richard Caring, who is not renowned for having a restrained taste, spared no indulgence (it is estimated that the interiors cost more than £25 million). While you savor platters of bucatini bolognese and tagliolini truffle pasta delivered by servers wearing togas, enormous Damien Hirst sculptures keep watch over you.

Address: Bacchanalia, 1-3 Mount Street, London W1K 3NA

URL: bacchanalia.co.uk

Kaspia Caviar

It comes as no surprise that Caviar Kaspia is a fashionable hangout during fashion season given that it has outlets in some of the most opulent locations in the globe (Paris, Dubai, NYC, and the list goes on). The legendary thousand-pound caviar-coated baked potatoes and old-world, aquamarine décor draw A-listers, high-flying influencers, and everyone who's someone in the business (think Beyoncé, Naomi Campbell, and Tom Ford).

King’s Cross g

King's Cross, Decimo

This seductive, dimly lit restaurant, perched on the 10th level of The Standard hotel in King's Cross, checks all the appropriate boxes. This Mexican restaurant is where the in-the-know crowd goes after a day of wandering the city. It has views over the historic St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel and beyond to the markets and skyscrapers in Coal Drops Yard. The pork belly tacos, the fried hispi cabbage, and the fried potatoes with an aioli dip are all delicious and go great with a smoky mezcal margarita.

Location: Decimo, 10 Argyle Street, London WC1H 8EG

Hackney's Café Cecilia

Another recently released film with a lot of buzzes is this one. Before opening Café Cecilia, a charming small canal-front restaurant, Max Rocha gained experience in the kitchens of The River Cafe, St. John Bread & Wine, and Spring. He also provided food for fashion shoots and private parties. Of course, it implies that everything, from the decor to the ambiance to the really simple, incredibly local food, is right on trend.

Address: Café Cecilia, 32 Andrews Road, London, United Kingdom, E8 4FX

Sessions Arts Club i

Clerkenwell's Sessions Arts Club

This 2021 opening rapidly established itself as one of the most difficult tables to reserve in the area, and even two years later, it is still shining brightly. Florence Knight runs the kitchen of the stripped-back 18th-century Grade II-listed structure, which we rated one of London's most beautiful restaurants.

Bars

The Connaught, Mayfair, and Red Room

The Connaught has always been associated with a feeling of understated, timelessness-infused elegance, and Red Room is no different. The pub is immersed in alluring, old-school romanticism with its back-list bars, slick architecture, and red-themed décor. Stop by to sample creative drinks and take in the works of some of the finest female artists in the world, including Trina McKillen, Jenny Holzer, Louise Bourgeois, and Ti-a Thuy Nguyen.

Address: 16 Carlos Place, The Connaught, London, W1K 2AL

Isabel, Mayfair

Isabel is one of the most famous restaurants in the city and is located behind the poshest shopping street in London. The magnificent furnishings of this early 20th-century structure established a clear standard for the level of service and cuisine provided. Expect creative fare like grilled octopus topped with avocado cream and drizzled with a gold kiwi vinaigrette or tuna tartare studded with ponzu and wasabi and a squeeze of lime amid a ceiling decorated with golden orbs, blue velvet banquettes, and back-lit walls.

Address: Isabel, 26 Albemarle Street, London W1S 4HY

Mayfair k

Mayfair's Annabel's

Vivienne Westwood is to punk what Annabel's is to London Fashion Week. Over the five-day frenzy, throngs of well-dressed mavens in suits and boots swarm the members club to take photos in front of the hedonistic decor and recognizable washroom mirrors. A celebrity sighting or two will undoubtedly occur while dining here, so astute influencers and burgeoning members of the media arrive prepared to socialize and hit the dance floor to let off some steam after fashion week.

Location: 46 Berkeley Square, London, W1J 5AT

Green Park l

Chinois Park and Green Park

A mainstay of the glitzy crowd in Mayfair, picture members club atmosphere without the hauteur (albeit still with the prices). A jazz band is playing right in the center of the room, and the walls are covered with thick swaths of silk. Guests are sashaying between tables while wearing sharp suits and flowing skirts. The dim-sum platter on the Chinese-inspired menu is unlike any dim-sum you've ever had, and tuxedo-clad mixologists whisk up drinks in the bar's gold accent.

Address: 17 Berkeley Street, London, W1J 8EA

Leicester Square, 8 at The Londoner

It's not surprising that The Londoner is the official hotel of LFW 2023 given its West End location, flashy hyper boutique status, and fashion-forward décor. The hotel's collection of artwork is influenced by everything in the art world, from original pieces by artists like Tim Walker and Donovan Davis to interior design ideas from Alexander McQueen. Be sure to reserve a table at the opulent rooftop lounge 8 at The Londoner for dinner; it offers top-notch Japanese food in an izakaya-style setting with views of Leicester Square.

Address: 8 at The Londoner, 38 Leicester Square, London, WC2H 7DX

Mayfair's Le Deli Robuchon

The little brother of the up-the-road Le Comptoir Robuchon is a dream pitstop for anyone rushing between shows, stocked with fresh pastries and hot sandwiches that lean into the French vibe of the establishment (big-shot Parisian chef Jol Robuchon founded the namesake restaurants), such as jambon-beurre or a truffle Croque.

Address: Le Deli Robuchon, 82 Piccadilly, London, United Kingdom, W1J 8JA

Fitzrovia's Blank Street Coffee

Blank Street, a Brooklyn-born coffee shop, just opened in the UK in the summer of 2022, but it has already decorated several of London's hippest neighborhoods, including Fitzrovia, Notting Hill, Marylebone, and Shoreditch, with its mint-sage color scheme (with more on the way). For a nuttier kick, substitute regular milk with pistachio milk in lattes.

Location: 44 Charlotte Street, London, United Kingdom, W1T 2NR

URL: blankstreet.com

Mayfair's Pasticceria Marchesi

Maybe London's classiest bakery, Marchesi is from Milan, another fashion hotspot, and has been serving the Italian elite since 1824. Prada, who currently owns the company, was in charge of the opening of this location on Mayfair's Mount Street a few years ago. Purchasing chocolates to save for later while refueling with Italian coffee is a great idea.

Location: 117 Mount Street, London, W1K 3LA

In Soho, Aimé Leon Dore

The in-house café at New York City-based Aimé Leon Dore is as simple as the company's new collections of clothes. The London location (in Soho, on Broadwick Street) takes design cues from its sister location across the pond, with walnut wood and tiled flooring, marble table tops, and gold accents. To escape the bustle of Soho, get a Freddo Cappuccino with Greek influences.

Address: 32-34 Broadwick St., London, W1F 8JB, Café Leon Dore

Knightsbridge's Café Kitsuné

Tokyo, Paris, and New York are just a few of the world's most stylish cities where you may find this adorable Japanese-French café. Many of our favorite London restaurants, including Sachi, are located in Pantechnicon, a Scandi-Japanese fusion restaurant complex. If you're hungry, it's worth a pit stop.

Address: 19 Motcomb St., Ground Floor, Belgravia, SW1X 8LB
