The most romantic dating venues across eight well-known cities are offered by Yelp and OkCupid.

When it comes to having a successful date, the environment might be just as crucial as the people you hang out with.

With over 200,000 votes from OkCupid users, OkCupid and Yelp have compiled a list of the best places to visit in nine different categories in eight well-known U.S. cities, whether you're wanting to enjoy brunch or check out a themed bar.

Since Cambridge is home to the vast majority of OkCupid's users, other cities, like Boston, incorporate the surrounding metro area.
