Want to visit France for a weekend without going broke? Low-cost airline French Bee, which operates flights from Paris Orly directly, is now providing nonstop service between Miami and Paris.

The most intriguing thing, though, is that current rates start at $217 roundtrip. Yes, you did read that right. French Bee has made it feasible to go directly to Paris, France from Miami International Airport for less money than it would cost to travel from Miami to Tampa. As the most reasonably priced direct flights connecting the two cities, the new flights are off to a solid start.

According to a press release that French Bee president Marc Rochet shared with TripSavvy, "Paris continues to be one of the most popular international destinations in the world for South Floridians, and with the continued growth that Miami is witnessing, we are confident that this is the best market for our first Southeast route." We are enthusiastic about this growth since we know that customers will benefit from booking at pricing that are competitive in the market, " stated We anticipate that the new Miami service will generate great demand because to the accessibility it offers, strengthening the economic and tourism linkages between the two cities.

Today, December 15, the new Miami service begins operation. Three times a week, on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, there are flights available between Miami and Paris that depart at 9 p.m. EST and land at 11:40 a.m. CET. Flights from Orly depart at 2:30 PM CET and arrive in Miami at 6:45 PM EST the same day. By April of next year, French Bee hopes to increase the number of flights to four per week.

With the addition of this new route, French Bee will now offer nonstop flights from Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco to Paris. The airline provides three booking tiers: Basic (carry-on only), Smart (one carry-on and one checked bag), and Premium (two carry-ons and two checked bags). The airline utilises an A350-900 aircraft and an A350-1000 aircraft (so no old, little planes here) (one carry-on, two pieces of checked luggage, two meals, premium seat selection, and free drinks on board).

Also operating flights from U.S. airports, French Bee flies to French Polynesia and Réunion Island.
