2023-03-16  Uziel Udayle

xtapa, a beachside resort town in Mexico's state of Guerrero, is a haven for all-inclusive hotels. These are the 12 best. Ixtapa, which was created primarily for tourists, revolves around a thriving hotel industry. Ixtapa is well-versed in all-inclusive resorts, from imposing towers to exclusive beachfront hideaways.

The location of Ixtapa now was merely a field of coconut palms and palm trees facing the sea fifty years ago. Yet the Mexican government made the decision to develop this section of the Pacific coast for tourism after realizing the incredible natural beauty and potential of the coastline. Ixtapa, a thriving tourist destination, was thus founded.

From humble mid-level resorts to more upscale all-inclusive resorts, it still prioritizes resorts today. The majority of the beachfront hotels are conveniently close to Zihuatanejo, Ixtapa's tranquil sister village, as well as the lively center of the city's dining and shopping.

Here are the top all-inclusive hotels in Ixtapa if you're thinking about traveling to Mexico's Pacific coast.

1. Ixtapa Ocean Club Med

Ixtapa

Club Med Ixtapa Pacific is undoubtedly one of the top all-inclusive resorts in Ixtapa that you can choose from. With a variety of amenities and a prime location, the well-rounded, family-friendly resort offers something to offer almost everyone.

Club Med Ixtapa Pacific's facilities and activities, which include a kids' club (including a restaurant designed for kids), three pools, a spa, a fitness center, and nighttime entertainment, are the true highlights of the resort. Tennis, archery, and a trapeze setup are other activities.

The resort is 22 minutes from Zihuatanejo, a peaceful fishing community, and 10 minutes from Ixtapa's central business district.

2. Azul Ixtapa Grand Spa & Conference Center

atmosphere

The Azul Ixtapa Grand Spa & Convention Center is one of the best all-inclusive resorts in the region and has one of the best reputations in Ixtapa. While being geared at families, the resort is not overbearing nor excessively noisy.

The starting category for the four categories of rooms is a Luxury Suite. They are one of Ixtapa's largest starting suite sizes, starting at 700 square feet. More than 2,000 square feet in size and equipped with complete kitchens are found in the Presidential and Honeymoon Suites.

The resort's public areas are absolutely beautiful, from the hot tub and three zero-entry pools to the tiny sandy beach that views out over a tranquil stretch of the Pacific. Its beach's lack of the endless stream of beach sellers that seem to be present at all other coastal resorts is one of its benefits.

One of the biggest spas in the city is located at Azul Ixtapa Grand Spa and Convention Center. It has 18 rooms, 15,000 square feet of space, and a broad range of therapies.

3. Pacifica Ixtapa Resort

stucco walls

The Pacifica Resort Ixtapa has 222 rooms, is brimming with facilities, and provides breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding hills. From stucco walls and columns to clay tile roofs, the architecture and decor are distinctly Mediterranean.

Mexican culture is reflected inside with the whitewashed walls, red-tiled floors, and vibrant pottery. Although there are many other accommodation types, in general, the suites are divided into Luxury Suites and Premium Suites. Private balconies, dining rooms, and full kitchens are available as amenities. But, luxury suites begin at 1,300 square feet and contain plunge pools with blue tiles.

There are five swimming pools, seven dining options, a beach, and a spa on the resort. Other, more sedate pools are dotted around, but the main pool is meant for activities.

The beach is right in front of the resort, although due to the proximity of the hotel to the water, the space is rather constrained. Having said that, individuals who require some time in the ocean will find the water to be tranquil and the location convenient.

Restaurants, retail establishments, and the 18-hole Campo de Golf Ixtapa are all within five minutes of the hotel.

4. Emporio Ixtapa

bustling shops
