When planning a trip to Las Vegas, there's no reason to leave the kids behind. 
The town typically associated with adult-oriented entertainment has lots to offer the entire family, and your whole group will enjoy many free activities in Las Vegas. 
Las Vegas is a fantastic family vacation spot because of the shows, rides, arcades, and educational possibilities. 
Here are 25 family-friendly activities in Las Vegas.

Drive a go-kart at Las Vegas Mini Grand Prix. 
 

Go-karting is available for all ages at the Las Vegas Mini Grand Prix Family Fun Center, including high-speed karts for those who are 14 and older. 
A Super Slide, arcade games, amusement park rides, pizza, and desserts are all available.

Discovery Children's Museum in Las Vegas

 

Visit the Discovery Children's Museum. 

Children can use crayons and watercolors to make art, take on the role of an archaeologist to solve a mystery, or have fun with experiments and inventions at the Discovery Children's Museum. 
A desert-themed exhibit is a terrific area for young children to crawl around and play.

See sea creatures at Mandalay Bay. 

 

Visitors at Shark Reef Aquarium are welcome to feed the stingrays and other animals. 
Visitors can explore the touch pool, observe shark feeding sessions, and witness thousands of aquatic species while learning about them from Shark Reef Educators.

Go skydiving.

 

Visitors (40 pounds and up) can experience Vegas Indoor Skydiving. 
After a brief orientation, visitors put on their flight suits, enter the tunnel, and take to the air.

Have a sweet time at a chocolate store. 

 

Visitors can watch a theatrical production at Hershey's Chocolate World to understand how choco is and to explore chocolate's art and science. 
They may make their candy bar by selecting the ingredients and customizing the wrapper.

Brave a thrill ride with a Vegas view.

 

Riders are launched 160 feet into the air at 45 mph while standing on a 921-foot-high platform for a great perspective of the Las Vegas Valley. Riders experience four Gs of force as they ascend, reaching 1,081 feet. The minimum height requirement to ride this scary ride is 48".

Play at an indoor amusement park. 

Adventuredome, a five-acre indoor amusement park with a vintage arcade, roller coasters, bumper cars, a rock climbing wall, and miniature golf, is located in Circus Circus. 
Play laser tag, go on a Ferris wheel ride, or take the kids on family rides that are entertaining for all ages.

Cheer on knights in battle. 

 

The Excalibur Tournament of Kings features an evening of entertainment in a theater-in-the-round arena that includes jousting, sword fighting, horse racing, and a medieval setting. 
Enjoy a Cornish fowl dinner with potatoes, corn, dessert, and entertainment from Merlin and the jester.

Chill out at an ice bar.

Everything in Minus5 I.C.E.B.A.R., from the seats and walls to the drink cups, is composed of ice, making for a genuinely chilling experience for guests. 
Visitors can enjoy ice sculptures, music, and a light show while keeping warm by donning gloves and a parka or faux fur coat. 
Three Las Vegas locations are open to visitors until 9:00 p.m. if they are seven years old or older.

Stop by the Bellagio Fountains.

This free entertainment is one of the most fascinating and well-liked sights in Las Vegas. 
Enjoy the music as you stroll by and gaze in awe at the expertly coordinated fountains.

Laugh at animal antics.

 

The Popovich Comedy Pet Theater act consists of stunts and demonstrations of the abilities of the animals. It features an all-star ensemble of rescued dogs, cats, parrots, and even a miniature horse. At this well-liked family performance, the pets dance, jump, balance, and entertain in various ways.

Visit the Las Vegas Natural History Museum. 

While you might not consider a museum a Las Vegas destination, it makes for a beautiful afternoon activity, especially in a hot summer. 
Among the exhibits are a replica of King Tut's tomb, a mummy, dinosaurs, ancient species, marine life, and a gallery of Nevada's wildlife.

Take a gondola ride. 

A gondolier sings Italian tunes as passengers board St. Mark's Square in the Venetian Resort and cruise down canals past stores, cafés, and under bridges. 
Thanks to the fantastic recreations of St. Mark's Square, the Rialto Bridge, and the Grand Canal, it's as near a journey to Venice as you can.

Shop, eat, and play at Town Square.

The Children's Park has a climbing cube, slides, a trampoline, and a splash park in the summer for kids ten years of age or younger. 
The Cactus Coaster is a trackless electric train featuring a locomotive and four-passenger wagons that children can ride on. 
The Town Square also has a movie theatre, restaurants, and retail establishments.

Fly over Fremont Street.

The Zip-Zilla transports passengers seated on board halfway down the Fremont Street Experience. 
The Super-Hero Zoom transports visitors along the Fremont Street canopy in "superhero style" on the upper level.

Join the Avengers and ride Captain America's motorcycle.

The armor and shield of Captain America, as well as the gear and armor of Hawkeye and Black Widow, are on exhibit alongside other original Avengers operational items. In a game for superhero lovers, visitors can become certified members of the Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N.

Take a selfie with your favorite celebrity at Madame Tussauds.

See flamingos at the Flamingo. 
 

A group of Chilean Flamingos, Brown Pelicans, local hummingbirds, and a variety of exotic waterfowl and songbirds can be in the garden-like Wildlife Habitat, which is open to the public and free of charge. Visitors can learn more about the habitat and animals at the twice-daily Keeper Talks at 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Take a ride on the Big Apple Coaster.

For riders at least 54" tall without shoes, this crazy roller coaster travels at over 67 mph and features a 180-degree twist and 203-foot drop. Play the newest video and arcade games and old-school favorites like air hockey and Skee-Ball at the Big Apple Arcade.

Hit Topgolf for some friendly competition.

Topgolf Las Vegas offers climate-controlled hitting bays with HDTVs, free clubs, enormous outfield targets, and high-tech balls that score for a fun family competition. Anyone may pick up a club and start swinging; no prior experience is necessary. While you play, you can get refreshments at the restaurant and bar.

Be amazed by world-class entertainment.

Cirque du Soleil performances, magic shows, and well-known concerts are available in Las Vegas. 
The new Awakening show at the Wynn features puppets, dramatic choreography, technology, fantastical animals, and music by "The Lion King" star Michael Curry. It is a specially built 360-degree auditorium.

The creative Blue Man Group performs in a specially created theatre at the Luxor Hotel. 
Their performances are unique and entertaining for people of all ages, thanks to music, art, comedy, and surprises.

Check out the Downtown Container Park. 

In addition to an interactive play area with The Treehouse, a slide, open-air dining, and bars, the Downtown Container Park offers free family entertainment. 
The venue welcomes guests with a 35-foot-tall praying mantis sculpture that shoots flames from its antennae. It is out of recycled shipping containers and Xtreme cubes. 
(After 9:00 p.m., Container Park is a 21+ establishment.)

 

Create custom M&M's. 


Using photos, a personal printer, and a selection of 16 distinct colors, visitors design their own M&Ms. 
Racing enthusiasts want to check out the Kyle Busch NASCAR vehicle replica and shop for vibrant M&M's Racing apparel.

Take a ride on the High Roller. 

On the tallest observation wheel in North America, visitors soar 550 feet above the Las Vegas Strip. 
One circuit of the wheel takes 30 minutes, and its 28 roomy cabins offer 360-degree views.
